Amidst numerous applications, we have diligently selected local observers who will represent ELCOP during this significant electoral process.
Workshop for Local Observers: Preparation for the Electoral Role
To ensure our selected local observers are fully equipped with the necessary knowledge and understanding of the observation rules set forth by the Election Commission of Bangladesh, ELCOP is organizing a preparatory workshop for the local observers.

This workshop serves as a crucial platform to orient our local observers with the guidelines provided by the Election Commission. It aims to provide comprehensive insights into observation protocols, ensuring our team is adept at fulfilling their roles effectively and ethically.
The workshop will be conducted by ELCOP personnel. ELCOP’s Executive Director and Prosecutor of International Crimes Tribunal Bangladesh, Barrister Tapas Kanti Baul, Prof Dr. Shahriar Parvez (Senior Research Consultant of ELCOP), Aroup Raton Shaha (Research Consultant of ELCOP), Shuvra Deb Kar (co-ordinator of Secular Citizens Bangladesh), Md. Rashid Annan (Research Assistant of ELCOP) will be the trainers for this workshop. They will take sessions regarding various aspects of Election Observation.
The participation of our local observers is integral to fostering transparency and upholding democratic values during the electoral process. We believe this workshop will not only empower our observers but will also contribute significantly to ensuring free and fair elections.
